William Bates has directed and produced an independent film entitled Dreamland. It tells the moving story of an amusement park that was located in Greenville, South Carolina during the 1930's and the 1940's. This was a magical place for the people who attended it during this period. Bates has interviewed many of the patrons of the park and has captured their moving stories about Dreamland. He has also written a collection of songs based on the Dreamland Story.
